Llandow Caravan Park is a family friendly touring caravan and camping park just 3 miles from the stunning Heritage Coast in the Vale of Glamorgan, near Cardiff, South Wales, half way between the quaint market town of Cowbridge and the historic town of Llantwit Major.
As part of their service offering, Llandow Touring Caravan Park provide public outdoor Wi-Fi for the convenience of all their guests. The existing Wi-Fi service that was in place had limited coverage, was patchy, unreliable, and often dropped out.
We undertook an extensive survey of the two main park sites, from the results plans were drawn up to provide an optimal coverage map. We designed an outdoor Wi-Fi system based upon industry leading wireless technology from Cambium Networks. To supplement the existing 4G broadband connection, we also provided an addition 4G connection with high gain antenna, to boost the available bandwidth. The Cambium Networks system employs latest MESH technology to ensure best coverage and availability of the Wi-Fi service throughout the park and minimise blackspots. We also provide a fully managed monitoring service as well as administering guest access. This enables potential issues to be identified and rectified remotely, minimising the impact on their business.
